English/Maths
The aim of this project is to widen participants’ understanding of job opportunities by giving them skills and techniques and raising their aspiration towards securing employment/further training.
During the English for work course, participants will focus on developing their language skills to help them find suitable careers. The course focuses on the situations that are related to your everyday working life.
During the learning the Maths for work participants will focus on enhancing their skills and confidence in Maths. They will improve their Maths skills by practising everyday maths.
Sessions will be led by qualified tutors with subject specialist qualifications accompanied with an enhanced DBS.
